Blanes, february the 1st 2019
In view of the various information that has taken place in recent days with regard to the mandate to close some of the facilities of Camping Bella Terra, we want to make a series of assessments:
- Last Thursday, January 24, 2019, two units of the local police forces Blanes came to our campsite to comply with the decree that indicated that we had to discontinue the activities of a part of our campsite. A legal representative and a number of employees of the campsite informed the police that the campsite itself, voluntarily, no longer uses the affected area and also informed them that the decree does not indicate that the demarcation should be a physical fence. For that reason, Camping Bella Terra voiced his opposition to the alleged police action.
- In recent weeks, we have already told our customers in the area where the closure confirmation is in effect that they have to move their caravans, leaving only about 20 Mobil-Homes from a tour operator that will be removed next week.
- Camping Bella Terra is working to ensure that the partial closure of the facilities will not affect the use of the Aquaera swimming pool, the l'Era restaurant, the mini club and the sports fields within the affected area. However,at this moment we cannot guarantee that they can be used this season. As soon as we have more information about the possibility to use these facilities, It will be duly communicated.
- Finally, and pending the judgment of the Administrative Court of Girona on the appeal and the request for a ban on the order execution of last Wednesday, January 25, 2019, we want to bring a message of reassurance to All our customers, that the campsite is still trying to minimize the consequences of this situation.
