The competition was first held in 1971. Since then, it has been a celebrated festival that attracts prestigious participants from different countries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Four Spanish and one Italian companie will participate in this year&#8217;s edition. The first evening, July 23 we start with the company Hermanos Ferr\u00e1ndez (Murcia), winner of the last three editions. Chronologically, Wednesday&#8217;s turn will be Poleggi (Italy), Thursday 25 Valenciana Pyrotechnics, Pyrotechnics Friday 26 Gironina, closing of the festival, Pyrotechnics Zaragozana, on Saturday 27.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Blanes quadruples the population during the five days of the competition. It is estimated that this year more than 500,000 people will pass through the coastal city, of which the largest number will be on Saturday evening. The city has a wide range of accommodation options, including camping pitches, with more than 10,000.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One of these tourist accommodations is <strong>Camping Bella Terra<\/strong>, which has recently been awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence as the number 1 hotel additional accommodation in Blanes. The campsite expects a high occupancy rate for the week of the fireworks competition. <em>\u2018It is a date marked on the calendar of all our campers. Reservations for the week of the competition are even made well in advance. Usually there is no more room for that data in January\u2019<\/em>, says director Vicen\u00e7 Fernandez.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Camping Bella Terra offers direct access to S&#8217;Abanell beach, where you can practice all kinds of activities on the water and where campers can find a wide range of services for leisure activities, sports, gastronomy, hiking or culture.
