La Costa Brava
Blanes, Portal de la Costa Brava, is located in the province of Girona, 55 minutes from the French border and 45 minutes from the city of Barcelona. Its location and good combinations of means of transport (plane, trains and ships) makes Camping Bella Terra very accessible for families who prefer to travel without using their own vehicle.
Costa Brava has a coastline of 158 km and, as its name suggests, is steep and with a wild landscape. Green pine forests hang over the cliffs reaching the beaches and coves of white sand bathed by the deep blue Mediterranean Sea.
To the south, Costa Brava begins in Blanes and reaches Portbou, near the French border. We can find natural parks such as Cap de Creus, Medes Islands or Aiguamolls de l’Empordà. Also, emblematic villages such as Cadaqués, Pals or Empúries (with the famous Romanesque ruins), mediaeval villages such as Monells, Peratallada. Beautiful coves in Begur or Llafranc (where you can find the famous lighthouse of San Sebastià), botanical gardens in Blanes and Delta del Tordera, which are a few metres from Camping Bella Terra.
All in all, a great place to spend a few days or an unforgettable family vacation.
