Camping Bella Terra is an advocate of cycling and gives its support to Espartana 2.0
The second edition of this popular cycling event will be held next Sunday, September 22 in Blanes.
The countdown to Espartana 2.0 begins, the popular cycling event organized by the Blanda Espartans Cycling Club. The route of the event to be held next Sunday, September 22, runs through the forests of the municipality of Blanes (El Vilar). The competition will again have two distances, one of 30 km (with a 950 m positive slope) aimed at the most demanding cyclists, and another of 20 km (with a 570 m positive slope), suitable for all target groups. You can register via the race website, until next Thursday, September 19.
One of the tourism companies that will sponsor the test is Camping Bella Terra, located in the municipality of Blanes, which in this way confirms its commitment to such a sport discipline. “For years, the campsite has been dedicated to the world of cycling, with the aim of recognizing our territory as one of the favorites of cycling, and thus attracting the attention of cyclists from all over Europe during the 12 months of the year”, says Vicenç Fernández, director of the campsite.
The campsite, which recently received the TripAdvisor certificate of excellence, as well as Blanes additional hotel accommodation no. 1, has the Bed & Bike campsite seal, awarded by Vies Verdes de Girona, which means a guarantee for cycling tourism enthusiasts.
Destination for Sport Tourism
The important sporting tradition, the dynamics and the exclusive characteristics of the municipality of Blanes have made it a city where important international sporting events are celebrated. The city has the certificate of tourist sports destination, granted by the Catalan tourism office.
